$15 - $20 an hour - Part-time

Job Summary

We are looking for positive, hardworking and professional individuals who preferably have some experience in construction--especially roofing. Don’t have experience? As long as you are willing to learn and work well with others and possess a good attitude, then you should apply.


Has access to or has their own vehicle
Is willing to travel (max travel time is approx 3 hours--will be compensated accordingly)
Is completely comfortable working under a woman superintendent
Has physical stamina and a willingness to complete jobs well and efficiently
Responsible for assisting roofers during the application or repair of roofing materials. Unloads materials, cleans off roof, applies roofing material, and cleans site after job is complete.

Primary responsibilities

Unload materials from truck and unroll roofing material.
Ensure there is enough material for entire roof.
Lift roofing materials onto roof using pulleys or ladder.
Clear debris from roof.
Scrape or pull off old roofing material.
Properly equip all roofers with safety equipment, scaffolding, and hoists.
Apply gravel, shingles, or asphalt over tar layer.
Cover roof with roofing felt, asphalt strips, or other materials.
Apply tile, slate, or composition materials to roof.
Locate and repair cracked tiles.
Clear out gutters and drains.
